These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and Warfront Games LLC, a Virginia limited liability company with its address at Warfront Games LLC 23710 Schooler Plaza PMB #62 Brambleton, VA 20148 ("Warfront Games", "we", "us"). They cover your use of Warfront, our tabletop battle map and token tracker, at warfrontgames.com and any apps or services we run under that name (the "Service"). By creating an account, joining a table or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use Warfront
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
You must be at least 18 years old to create a paid Game Master (GM) account and buy a plan.
Players may join a table as guests or with an account. Players do not pay and do not need a plan, but these Terms apply to them too.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secret and for everything done under your account. Tell us at support@warfrontgames.com if you think someone else has used it. A Game Master account can be signed in on up to 2 devices at once. If you sign in on a third device, your oldest session is signed out.
2. Plans, trials and billing
Plans. GMs choose a plan (Adventurer or Warlord). Each plan has its own limits on tables, players per table, storage, maps and saves. The current plans, prices and limits are on our Pricing page. We may change them as described in section 14.
Free trial. New GM accounts get a 14-day free trial of Warfront (with the limits shown on our Pricing page) with no card needed. If you do not choose a plan before it ends, your account becomes read-only as described in section 7.
Merchant of Record. Our order process is run by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payments, invoicing, sales tax and VAT, and refunds. When you buy, you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms, which are available at paddle.com. Paddle's name appears on your card statement and receipts. Your payment details go to Paddle, not to us.
Renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, whichever you chose) at the price shown when you bought, until you cancel. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price change takes effect on your plan.
Prices and taxes. Prices are shown in US dollars unless Paddle shows your local currency at checkout. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you are.
Changing plans. You can upgrade or downgrade from your account page. Paddle works out any credit or extra charge. If you move to a plan with lower limits, content over the new limits may become read-only until you delete enough to fit.
3. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time from your account page or by emailing support@warfrontgames.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep your plan until the end of the period you already paid for.
If you buy a plan and are not happy, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of your first payment. Refund requests for later renewals are handled under our Refund Policy. Refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method. You can ask us or request one through paddle.net.
Our Refund Policy is part of these Terms.
4. Your content
What counts. "Your content" means maps, images, avatars, tokens, notes, names, stats and anything else you upload or create in the Service.
You own it. You keep all rights you have in your content. We do not claim ownership.
What you give us. You give us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, display and process your content only as needed to run the Service for you and the players you invite. That includes making backups and showing your maps and tokens to players at your tables.
Your responsibility. You promise that you have the right to upload your content and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights. This matters most for maps and images: only upload art you made, bought with the right to use it, or that is licensed for this use. You are responsible for what is uploaded to your tables, including by players you invite.
Backups. We back up the Service, but you should keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. We do not guarantee that content can be recovered.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to:
- upload or share anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or that exposes another person's private information;
- infringe copyright, trademarks or other rights, including by uploading art, maps or characters you do not have the right to use;
- try to break, overload, probe or get around the Service, its limits or its security, or access accounts and tables that are not yours;
- scrape, copy or resell the Service, our content packages or our app code, except as these Terms allow;
- share a paid account, or invite more players than your plan allows by working around the limits;
- use the Service to send spam or malware, or for anything that could harm us or other users.
We may remove content and act on accounts that break these rules, as set out in section 8.
6. Our content and software
Warfront, its software, design, logos and the content packages we make (such as the Eldervane campaign, maps, tokens and guides) belong to Warfront Games LLC or our licensors and are protected by law.
While you have an active plan or trial, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the content packages included in your plan at your own tables, for your own games, and to run them for the players you invite. You may not sell, share, publish or redistribute them or use them to train AI systems.
If your plan ends, your access to plan-restricted packages ends too, as described in section 7.
Feedback you send us may be used by us to improve the Service without payment or credit.
7. When a plan ends, and your data
Read-only period. If your trial ends without a plan, or a paid plan lapses or is cancelled, your account becomes read-only for 30 days. You can still sign in, look at your tables and download or keep copies of what you have where the Service lets you. You can start or re-start a plan at any time to get full access back.
After the read-only period the account is closed to editing and play until you resubscribe.
Erasure. We do not delete your content before these dates. If your account stays unpaid, we delete your content 60 days after an unpaid trial ends and 90 days after a paid plan ends. Once erased it cannot be recovered. We may keep limited records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices.
Deleting things yourself. If you delete a table, it is permanently removed after 7 days. If you ask us to close your account, we will delete it within 30 days unless the law requires us to keep something.
Backups of deleted data are removed on the schedule in our Privacy Policy.
How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
8. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
We may suspend or end your access, remove content, or close your account if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, if your payment fails or is reversed, or if your use puts the Service or other people at risk. When it is reasonable we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first.
If we end your paid plan because you broke these Terms, you are not entitled to a refund. If we end it for any other reason, we will refund the unused part of what you paid.
Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, 13 and 15) stay in force after the Terms end.
9. The Service is provided as is
Warfront is a new product and the Service may be in beta. We work hard to keep it running, but we provide it "as is" and "as available" without any promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or always available, or that your content will never be lost. Features may change, move to a different plan, or be removed. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all other warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
10. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- Warfront Games and its owners, staff and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill, arising from your use of the Service;
- our total liability to you for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (through Paddle) in the 12 months before the claim arose, or US$50 if you have not paid anything.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
You agree to cover costs and losses we suffer because of content you upload or your breach of these Terms, to the extent the law allows.
11. Other people at your table
Your table is a shared space. We are not responsible for what players or GMs say or do at a table, or for disputes between users. Report problems to support@warfrontgames.com.
12. Third-party content and game rules
Warfront is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast or any other game publisher. Product and game names belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

Maps, art and other content from outside creators that appear in the Service stay the property of those creators and are used under license.
13. Copyright complaints
If you believe content in the Service infringes your copyright, email support@warfrontgames.com with: your name and contact details; a description of the work and where it appears; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner. We may remove the content and may close accounts that repeatedly infringe.
14. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may update the Service, our plans and these Terms. If we make a change that matters to you, such as a price rise or a cut in what your plan includes, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect (and it will not apply to the period you have already paid for). If you do not agree, you can cancel before then. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the new Terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before starting a formal claim, please email us at support@warfrontgames.com so we can try to sort it out within 30 days. Any dispute we cannot resolve will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Fairfax County, Virginia, and you and we agree to those courts. If you are a consumer, you also keep any rights that the law of your home country gives you that cannot be waived by contract.
16. General
These Terms, together with the Pricing page, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a right, that does not mean we give it up. You may not transfer your account or these Terms to anyone else; we may transfer ours as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business.
